Should I build the same project in different programming languages?

I have done this, as a way to compare two languages deeply and more comprehensively than I otherwise could have.


It is something that only a sort of connoisseur of languages, (or someone exploring the potential design of his own new language) might want to do. OTOH, I am sometimes that sort of person. I would recommend it for those who have enough "strange attraction" to computer language technology.
