The factuality of this relationship is certainly evidence of deep order and beauty in the very structure of the universe itself. e, i, and pi are all numbers found and defined in nature and there seems to be no obvious reason why such a simple and stunningly unexpected equation should be true. But of course, it is true. It was discovered and proven true long ago.
