Which programming language can help you become a better developer?

Hmmm… This question seems a little “wrong-headed” or off the mark in some way.

For a developer, programming languages are “tools of the trade”— they *enable* your work. A carpenter’s square or his circle saw do not “help him” become a better carpenter, though those tools, properly used, can make a man more productive as a carpenter.

So also with programming languages for the developer.
